Children’s Groups

At LBC we have dedicated team who really want to help children to have a great time in church on a Sunday or at one of our many outreach groups which run during week day evenings and during school holidays.

We aim to share the word of God with children and through the example that we set we hope to show them Jesus’ love in action. Above everything our aim is to make all of our sessions fun!

You can find out about all of these groups on the links to the right, there is something to suit all age ranges and I’m sure that you’ll find something that will appeal to you.

We communicate via email and letters and always aim to keep all of our families well informed with forthcoming events – again please explore our website and you’ll see some of the events that are coming up soon and also the days and times of our regular groups.

During the half term holidays our ‘Disney days’ have become a real success with many of the children within our community. The afternoon usually runs from 2pm – 6pm and is filled with fun, games, craft, food and a film.

During the summer holidays we run a bible based holiday club which again is action packed and filled with fun, games and bible story based crafts and food!

Treasure Seekers – for children aged 7-11
We gather in the small hall of the Memorial Hall when the children and youth leave the main Sunday morning service at about 11am.
We then head off to the Scout Hut returning to the Memorial Hall for midday and the end of the morning service. While in the Scout Hut we enjoy games, chat & refreshments and use various materials to help us with simple Bible study and teaching.
A register is kept and children are supervised at all times – including too and from the Scout Hut. We do ask that children wear suitable coats etc as occasionally we do make the short walk in the rain!
